Established in 1861

The Goodwood Cemetery is located approximately 1km north of Goodwood on the 3rd Concession of Uxbridge (Front Street in Goodwood).

This public cemetery was established on June 22, 1861 and is active to this day.

The cemetery is operated by a volunteer board of directors referred to as the Goodwood Cemetery Board.

Plots are currently available to accommodate the burial of both caskets and cremated remains with future acreage still to be developed to the west of the main section.  The Columbarium was constructed in 2013 and contains 72 niches for cremated remains.  Plans allow for additional Columbariums to be erected as needed in the future.
